Brand Videos for Chemical Companies

We specialize in producing brand videos for chemical companies  across the world that tell their stories in ways that not only relay crucial information, but also convey the culture and personality of the organization. Our videos engage new audiences with a cinematic look that accurately reflects a companies brand.

Shepherd Color is an example of a manufacturing brand story that focuses not only on the impressive manufacturing equipment, but more importantly, the people that make Shepherd Color so successful. All of the Shepherd companies have wonderful cultures and offer their employees exciting and meaningful careers. Additionally, they are very active in their industry and community to create value and brighten lives.  By telling the Shepherd stories, we also fulfill our mission in the world: to tell the stories of organizations that make a positive impact in real people’s lives, the community and the world. Barking Squirrel Media has been most privileged to produce many videos for the Shepherd companies over the years.

It was decided that his particular brand story would take a testimonial approach and feature Tom Shepherd, CEO of The Shepherd Material Science Company and Chris Manning, President of Shepherd Color. No one knows the history of the Shepherd companies more than the Shepherd family.

We worked with the marketing manager, Jennifer McClure of Shepherd Color, to develop the key talking points, the right questions to be asked  and we even pre-scripted the answers. We didn’t want leadership reading a script on camera and seem inauthentic. However a script is important for corporate brand video’s because they ensure that answers are precise and concise. Often, on the day of filming, we will put the script on a teleprompter and allow those on camera to rehearse their answers. After a few run throughs, we turn off the teleprompter and allow leadership to answer questions in their own words. The end result is a perfect balance of authenticity and precise brand language.
