Microbiology & Chemistry Brand Video

We are thrilled to have produced this Microbiology & Chemistry Brand Video for Q Labs of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Discovery for Microbiology & Chemistry Brand Video

We conducted a thorough discovery process with Q Labs with their key leadership team to learn all aspects of their company and what distinguishes them from their competitors. We interviewed each team leader on zoom, recorded and transcribed the discovery interviews and then presented Q Labs with our brand findings.

Scripting for Q Labs

From this report, we developed a script that was precise and concise and also reflected the heart of the Q Labs story. Scripting at Barking Squirrel Media is a collaborative effort between our creatives and a client’s marketing department. The back and forth revisions resulted in a storyline that was compelling, informative and strategic.

Preproduction for Microbiology & Chemistry Brand Video

A great deal of time went into preproduction details such as site scouting, storyboarding, shot lists and filming schedules. The producers had to work with numerous team leaders to create a filming schedule that does not interfere with normal operations but also ensures that we are filming products and processes at the optimum time.

Filming the Q Labs Video

This microbiology & chemistry brand story required one full day with very slim four person crew. Our team has worked together for years and we are a well oiled filming team with crew member members working in tandem with the others. We filmed in two adjacent facilities on two floors. Our shot lists and filming schedules are details, allowing our team to be highly efficient and fast.

Editing the Microbiology & Chemistry Brand Video

Barking Squirrel Media’s editing process is collaborative. Before the first draft goes to the client, the video goes through a number of internal edits to get the video as close as possible to our client’s goals and objectives. Once the video  first draft is complete, a video link is sent to our client. The client can watch the film and click on the video at any point where they want to provide feedback. Using a review page link, the client does not have to provide us with time codes. Once the video has been clicked, the video player stops and a field pops on for the client to type out their editorial requests. All of these requests go directly back to the editorial team and they begin making the edits once we have been notified by email. This makes the post-production process seamless and effortless. For most situations, a client is allowed 3 edits of the film without additional charges.
