In this Healthcare Video Reel for The Ridge Ohio, we focused on creating a visually stunning highlight video that showcased the beauty of The Ridge space. We utilized dynamic camera movement  and aerial drone footage to capture the facility from multiple perspectives, ensuring a captivating visual experience. We set the video reel to an inspiring music track that created a strong emotional connection. The entire shoot had  to be completed in two half days.

We captured this project using the exceptional Blazar Anamorphic lenses, renowned for their ability to enhance the cinematic storytelling experience. These lenses delivered a stunning widescreen aesthetic, emphasizing the grandeur and scale of every frame. Their unique optical characteristics brought a captivating sense of depth and texture to the visuals, particularly in the way they rendered light. Highlights and flares took on a dreamlike quality, adding a layer of visual poetry to the scenes. The combination of rich color reproduction, subtle distortion, and smooth focus transitions helped elevate the production, creating a truly immersive and cinematic look that brought our creative vision to life.

The first day began early to capture the beauty of the outdoor golden hour shots of the facility and grounds. We then moved the production team inside the facility and worked methodically and logically throughout the facility, using staff to reenact the various scenes of this healthcare video reel. Once filming was completed, our photographer took staff photos outdoors.

We returned a week later to film additional  outdoor scenes. We blocked dynamic action with The Ridge Ohio staff. This enabled us to create such scenes as outdoor Pickleball games, Frisbee Golf, walking around the lake and expansive overview shots of the entire location. These golden hour shots were filmed on both a cinema camera and a drone.

The goal for all filming and photography of this healthcare video reel was to capture not only the beauty of the facility but also the close interpersonal relationships that develop between clients and staff. We wanted to showcase authentic relationships, healing moments, safe spaces for therapy, friendly and personal staff, exquisite dining experiences and the peaceful and beautiful grounds for relaxation, medication and recovery.
